OT, I have also been running the famous Tiny rev5 for..can't rember, and have absolutey one HUGE problem.....IT JUST WORKS!

I recently upgraded from RR 9-9-2007 and DFX2.5 to RR 9-30 and DFX2.5... not sure if it's a skin issue or a RR issue, but in the Music screen when I hit Visualization I can no longer cycle through the visualizations by touching the screen in the visualization window. To change it, I have to exit RR, open winamp, select the new vis, then go back into RR.

Is this a setting somewhere in RR or the DFX skin?

Yea, This is a RR issue, and not the skin (for once! I noticed that myself a couple days ago. I posted a note about it in the bugs thread. The last RR version that it worked on was 9/30/07. Guino changed a couple things on the visu's, so it also prob broke the commands to switch the visualizations. If he is unable to get it working again, do to his changes, I have a script that I wrote that can talk to Winamp directly to make it work again. Lets just see if RR is fixed, before I go that route.....

This is a winamp version problem. Make sure you are using Winamp 5.13. I have had the exact same problem, and tried many WInamp versions before settling with 5.13

1) I ran out of places to put buttons, and thus replaced the "super search" with the library search. I will tinker around and see if I can add a way to put that back in again.

2) Yea, I should be able to do that, and actually most likely will, as I am in the process of switching out my CarPC for a laptop as well. The idea is to have it standby when I turn the key off, and have instant on when starting the car. With some testing, I have estimated that the Laptop will remain in standby for around a week. If the battery drops to 10%, I have it then set to just go into hibernation.
3) Hmmmm I will see what I can come up with to try to make it more easily accessible. Possibly as a button choice for one of the 16 menu buttons, or on the rate song skin. The rate song is accessible by tapping the name of the song on the top of the main menu screens. I will prob add that to all the skins where the song title is shown.

On another note, I have gotten a little side tracked I finally have my Touchscreen installed in the wall! (Yes, that is Road Runner in the last picture controlling the lights and such )
