Oh something I still have not gotten mine to do is change the skin from within DFX. I always have to exit and use rrconfig to set a new skin and then relaunch. Is there no other way?

Yea, little temptation.....give us a few screenshots.

John rocks, i love this skin. I know other skin writers bust *** also doing theirs, but DFX by far is not only the best looking, but supports the most options of any skin i tried.

As for the answering emails, I am sorry that I have not gotten back to you all individually. I can tell you that I have received every bug report and suggestion, and am doing my best to fix the bugs, and implement the suggestions. I receive about 20 emails a day, half of which are related to the skin. I just have not had the time to answer each one individually, However, if you check the bugs reports link that I sent to the beta testers, you will see each and every one of your suggestions and bugs, with a comment about it (Fixed, implemented, working on it, or not going to be added).

I am sorry to report that the skin has been delayed due to time constraints around the Holidays, and I will try to get it completed and out as soon as possible.

Merry Christmas / Happy Holidays to everyone.
Arg... I posted early yesterday afternoon, and then my wife went into labor and the thread of messages surrounding digeratix and my suggestion seems to have gone to crap.

I'd like to set a couple things straight about where I stand on the matter.

    1) I wasn't complaining about the lack of response to my emails. I totally respect and understand the amount of work this represents. It seems I hadn't checked the list of bugs/suggestions recently enough to see it added, though I was checking it fairly regularly up until recently.

    2) From the sounds of it, I may not understand how to use the new iList. I'll do some research and see if I can work it better.

    3) I would like to also make it clear that I am extraordinarily grateful of your efforts in developing and maintaining this skin. If not for DFX I was planning to design my own skin, and I can assure you it wouldn't be nearly as good, nor attractive.

I work as a software engineer, and I've worked on "community" projects like this, and know what it feels like to put lots of effort into something, and feel as though you only receive further demands, rather than appreciation. Seems I'm guilty of being on the other end of that equation this time. It is, unfortunately, human nature to only speak up when there is something bothering you.

So, again, I'd like to express my appreciation for your work, and reiterate that I was just offering my personal opinion. I didn't expect a change to the skin just for me, I just thought I'd mention it, and see if any others noticed it and had a preference.

Again, thanks for your hard work John!

Look at the Pointer line. Here you can make the Pointer any size you want.

    /, S, x, y, w, h, x1, y1, w1, h1, O, Style, Pointer file path, h2, Code;SLIDERCODES, Tooltip
    S,751,184,33,156,751,184,33,156,V,02,"Slider1\Poin ter2.gif",25,"PLSLIDER",

I didnt seem to have much effect on change the size of it. Mine is set to 12 instead of 25 an I changed it to 50 and no change. I was editing Audio_playlist.skin.

I may not be doing it right, please advise.

After all this work setting up 2.5 I'm not sure I'm even going to want to switch over when the update comes out. jk

This is my first FE post and I'm new to RR/DFX/Iguidance, and have a question I just can't find the answer to:

I just installed Iguidance, and Xport. GPS appears to be working. I had a hard time with the automatic routing functions like Gas Price Finder's "map it" until I applied the patch found on John's site.

The problem I am having (I may just not know what it should be doing) is when I have a route displayed and I push route(with the ghostbuster symbol over it). I have had erratic functionality from it. Sometimes nothing happens, sometimes several pushes will clear the route, and mostly (it's been pretty consistant lately) I get an iGuidance window that pops up that gives my "Current Location" with a button to save, and the go-back orange arrow up top.

When it works, it works well (route just dissapears) in both types of displays ('route' and 'map') within iGuidance.

I noticed it changed some with another problem I was having, where my taskbar was showing up. I changed rr.ini to hide the taskbar. But the problem remains.

    Any ideas, direction, or advice?
