This is what it looks like...on the carpc. Had to use the lil onscreen kb to get a prtscr.

I have pretty much the same setup on my homepc and this is what it looks like there.

But the funny thing is that it used to look that good on the carpc, I dont know whats changed.

Well I thought that, but everything is fine outside of RR.

I have tried it on 16bit color and 32 bit and no diff in the album art.

Here is the same image in the viewer within windows on the carpc

As you can see its not the same look as it looks in rr.

Can you elaborate on exactly what you did? Maybe this will create some clues...

make sure the hardware acceleration is all the way up. Mine is like that also but i have to with the jetway jf2we2g motherboard. I'm using the rca out and for it to work(show video on both monitors in clode mode) i must put the hardware acceleration to 1/3.

Crummy art (low resolution) looks even worse when it is scaled to a different size "on the fly" by any application.

    For Optimal Album Art:

Find a high resolution wallpaper or cd cover and crop it down to the exact pixel size that RR uses for the album art (A) code.

Then you have 1:1 pixel ratio and hence perfect "HD" art.
Build Things, it keeps your brain busy.

Most of mine are scaled down from 2024x1680 size or similar. I did notice that if I used the Cover Art Downloader program, then that was where it was doing the harm. When you download images from within that program, the images were way to low quality to scale into a bigger format or manipulate in the Cover Flow and RR.
I started to download them myself from other places other than Amazon.com and the Cover Art Downloader program found in the forum (a link I think to the program).

Does anyone know of an art down loader that can grab art for the artist level of the folder structure ie.

    <Artist>
    -artist_art.jpg
    -<Album>
    --album_art.jpg
    --album_song.mp3
    -<Album>
    --album_art.jpg
    --album_song.mp3
