    Ok i guess that I am a moron cause I cant get this skin to work. I copied the contents of the RR_Add-2-.ini to the rr.ini file and I am still getting the grayed out skin. I searched this massive thread and didnt really find much. I made sure I had flash installed (used IE to update). I searched some more and found that I have flash version 9 instead of 8 that was recommended.

    1. Where exactly should i copy the 3 lines to the rr.ini file? I tired the begining of the file, then tried under the skin section, and then tried at the end. I removed the first fastmode=-1 entry also.

    2. Do i need flash version 8 instead?

    3. and if im a bigger bonehead for posting this question please just tell me to RTFM again and I will try to sort through it again.

    Thanks

    rydindirty, it sounds like you need to set the picspath/background path

    Ok it looks like i am having problems with the version of flash I am using. I downloaded another skin and it is giving me the same issues as with this one.

    I read through the FAQ's for RR and found the flash FAQ but the link for the flash version 8 seems to be jacked.

    edit: does anybody have a link where i can download version 8 so i can change it?

    You would feel more of a moron/bonehead (your words) if it's only a matter of setting your picspath/backgroundpath correctly as recommended above!

    Are they set correctly?

    Ya I think so. I went back and checked them and set them to the right location

    E:\Road Runner\skins\DigitalFX 2.0\Backgrounds

    and this was added to the rr.ini file under the [skins] section:
    fastmode=-1
    picspath=E:\Road Runner\skins\DigitalFX 2.0\Backgrounds
    localdatacaptureinterval=1

    and I removed the fastmode=-1 from under [general] section

    I found the flash version 8 and made the changer according to the FAQ's and that still didnt fix it.

    Am I adding the lines in the rr.ini file in the wrong place or does that even matter?

    Thanks so much for pointing that out to me. It was defaulted to the C:\ drive. I changed the path and all is good now.

    Listen To This One!

    Had things working almost acceptable (aside from my freefone displaying wrong name/picture randomly)
    So, I was adding some things I had put off, IE; Traffic cam, and ability to search albums.
    All was fine yesterday and today,,, then the album artwork stopped displaying in the player. I have been copying my entire Road Runner directory everyday so i had a RECENT backup in case of problems.
    So... I put yesterdays working copy in, and all is ok with album art... UNTIL, I browse and change albums, then album art ok, then go back to first album, and from then on NO art on any of them.
    Did a file compare of my backup folder with current problem Road Runner folder, and I find a file called resume.ini that was not in the the backup folder.
    So, I delete this file and artwork comes back, UNTIL I change albums!

    Here is the contents of resume.ini :
    0
    4822
    False
    False
    C:\Program Files\Road Runner\Skins\DigitalFX 2.0\
    0
    False
    False
    False
    False
    --------------------------------------------

    I am about ready to throw in the towel.

    This AM I notice a file in C:\Program Files\ (NOT in Road Runner\ dir)
    called "Road Runnini" (NO ext.). When I remove this file things start working MUCH better. Aside from the occasional first song in an album not showing artwork. (I will live with that). Anyone else have this file? My other test PC with RR does not have it!

    Here is what it contains:
