Quick question on your browser skin the menu on the lower part does that appear misaligned? or is it just my configuration
I'm not saying what he did is wrong, in fact I thought it was nice of him, but he did not suggest people donate to get the new version, merely said that those that had already donated would get the new version to test.
What you are doing is solicting for payment and acting as John's pimp. ;)
John is aware of the signal indicators not working for Sirius and XM. If you go to post 3 you'll find a link to a bugs page he put together. He hasn't updated it in a while, but it's probably pretty close to being complete.
I'm using XM, but assume it's designed the same way. As an example, if you want to save a list of your favorite rock stations you would push "New List" , type "Rock" in the OSK and hit enter. That will then place you in the new favorites list called "Rock". At that point you would just hit "Add Fav" and type the station number in the box that comes up and it will add that station to your Rock favorites list. You can create any number of favorites lists and toggle through them by continuing to press the "My Favorites" button. If you hold down the "My Favorites" button a window with the station icons will appear. Initially, this window will not contain your favorite stations, but John's. If you want to be able to set up this window to show your favorite stations so you can choose them by icons, you will need to configure it by adding the appropriate icons and changing the appropriate .skin file to make sure the station numbers match the icon locations. It's a little bit of work. Though I have configured the window for my favorites, I rarely use it in the car because I have found that keeping the button pressed long enough to bring up the window is sometimes difficult.
