In the default BMV2 skin, I see the text that the radio stations transmit, including radio station name as well as artist/title of the currently playing song, but it isn't in DFX 2.5. Not complaining, just asking - I love this skin.
I know there will be HD Radio support with his new screen. I'm not sure if it does RDS as well. But man... the HD Radio screen is pretty

    3.0 update

OK, 3 donations in just over a week, you guys caught my attention Hahahah!

I have been working on the skin every night this week. It is getting close to being done finally!

Yes, it will have dynamic buttons, HD Radio support (With RDS), and about 100 other new things. Far too many to go into here. Its gonna take me a day just to add all the new stuff to the help file! hahaha

I am still plugging away, and have not abandoned 3.0 in any way. It's just been a LOT of work, and even more time! Hard to find the time with work, and just moving into my first house. I have to admit, I took a couple weeks off from working on the released skin, to work on mine It has a few skins to control the lighting and such in the house, view the camera at the door, display motion sensor status information and such.... All running in the RR front end

So after that break, I have been back to 3.0 and really just want to get it completed at this point, just as bad as you guys!

I spent a lot of time on the music screens and have really revamped them. For instance, on the browser screen, there are soooo many ways to go through your music:

    1) use the standard up/down page up/page down buttons
    2) use the slider next to the list (New CLSlider Guino implemented that is really responsive!)
    3) Use the "Jump to letter button" to jump alphabetically in your list
    4) Spin your finger around the album cover to smoothly scroll up and down
    5) Flick the list of music (Using iLists Guino implemented, just like on the iPhone interface
    6) Brose your music by album art (NOT the slow flash version )
    7) and if all else fails, Search (By artist, album, year, genre, file name, partial words ect)

Here is a teaser of the Audio Browser screen:

Thanks for the donations, as they are always welcome and all of you guys patience!

    John,

I think we are all glad to see you posting again!!!! I for one have been checking this thread daily since you first announced 3.0. I wanted to take time out to thank you for all of your work. This skin and it's set of screens makes all of the labor I've put into my Carpc worthwhile. I am very happy with 2.5 and am ecstatic to think 3.0 will be better. On that note i'm sending you another donation, as this skin is worth more to me than all of the hardware in my rig.

    Thanks again!

    Nathaniel

P.S. here's some pics of my Malibu, It's been happily running 2.5 for 4 months now.

This skin has been great. I wish I had a few extra dollars to donate to john and guino, but for now I don't. I had to use my credit card points for my last few peripherals :P. I'm debt free and hope to keep it that way.

A bug in 2.5(Hopefully it can be fixed in 3.0): When I try to use the built-in web browser buttons, I can't type in a URL because the thing presses all of the hotkeys I've set for RoadRunner.

You will probably spend AT LEAST 2x what you initially budget for your CarPC Project!
