really. it would probably be best to wait for guino to release a new version of roadrunner.

If the graphics subsystem IS updated and supports transparencies all around then John could release 1 skin with all the colors included easily. As it is right now it's very difficult to release and maintain 1 skin so many times for each color.

Here Here! Changing a SINGLE button on the default blue skin, has to be done on 3 images (On, Off, and down). Then that has to be done on the other 3 colors, on each skin (12 images to save). Thats just for a single button!

You can imagine how hard it is to keep up with adding 5 different features, new skins and altering scripts!

I, and many, are in the hopes that Transparencies are going to be coming to Road Runner!

Is that why the "speaker mute" icon in the lower right corner does not change appearance when mute is active? It would be very helpful if there was an indication that mute was active, such as a red x.

Also, the same applies to the "heading" indicator at the top of the left column of icons when iGuidance is selected. I would suggest that "H" appear when north up is active, and an "N" should appear when heading up is active.

What is the Bluetooth icon mentioned a few posts ago? What is its purpose?

Do you have any plans to provide a wi-fi enable/disable icon? It would make it easier to manage the error messages when away from the home hot-spot.

I havent used the skin enough yet to report any bugs but I wanted to drop a note to JohnWPB thanking him for his work on this. I did not realize the work involved to create and maintain the skins until I read the posts above.

JohnWPB thanks for your time and effort to create and maintain the DigFX skin. Hopefully as I start using my carputer more and using the front end I can add some useful comments to the thread.

+1 .. this skin RULES. this converted me from frodoplayer to road runner. i was looking for a skin that was fast (nothing beats frodo for speed [then again im a newbie]) and had great features and functionality. i havent tested it in the car yet. only the house. but it seems to be working pretty well. flash could be faster but its a 1ghz machine

so far no problems at all w/ gps or anything.

Thanks for the compliments and kind words guys! It's nice to see that, after all the work put into so far.

Expect a major increase in speed in this skin in the next release

I am ironing out the details, and adding the changes to the installer, to make it as seamless as possible.

I'm still trying to figure out how to keep the needle from boucing off the vinyl.

Very nice skin

And first skin that works smooth with my via 1ghz motherboard
there were others that maybe looked just as good or better but they were to heavy for my system

I got several nav prog installed and all of them work

If you can make a skin that wil work with Navigon sinds that is the program that most of the european users wil use sinds iguidance stopped updating there maps that would be great.

one other question I've havent looked ad al the function from yours skin yet but does phonco work in you skin and how do I configured it.

I am not familiar with Navigon, and honestly, this is the first I have heard of it.

As for Phoco, it is one of the hardest things to configure and get working. You best bet is to get it all working stand alone with your phone first, then in RR config set up the info in there, and it should then work when you press the :Phone" button on the skin.

Open up the DigitalFX Help File, and check under the "How Do I" and then "Use more than one GPS device" it is explained in there, as well as screen shots, and links to what you need.
