also, i noticed a couple of times that when i go to satellite radio (have xm) all of the channels are the songs in my mp3 playlist and the album art is for the mp3 im listening to, not the xm station. other times (maybe only after a reboot), everything is fine in the sat. radio skin. any ideas? and i saw another guy had this problem that i have with the xm radio being not muted when rebooting and mp3s playing over it when i go into the skin. i checked the EQ via digitalfx skin and it said it was muted but i hit it anyway and it muted it. not a big deal but i needa get to the bottom of that one

oh yea and when in gps mode, i like hitting the button that puts the song title in a bar at the top and keeps all the buttons in a colum on the left and the right. but everytime i enter RR, it resets itself to show on the the colum of buttons on the left and the right

Unfortunately, the audio when switching from Radio, XM ect is just a minor annoyance in RR. It happens here as well where RR gets confused, and sometimes "Forgets" to must one audio device when going to another.

As for the GPS, It is currently not intended to "remember" the last GPS layout you were using. If you want to make it permanent, you can rename the skin file that you like best to external_gps.skin.

I’m new to the carputer community and have recently bought myself all the relevant bits… I’m currently using your skin, which is great by the way, I’m using Directions Navigator 6 as my GPS software, however the software doesn’t allow you to re-size the screen. So I’m using the full screen skin to run it. My question is could I have the code for the Autoit script for the full screen button as I’d like to re-size and re-position it, as you can see from my screen grab, it’s slightly in the way… Keep up the good work. It is in the latest release, and called ExitFS.AU3. It is in the scripts folder, inside the DigitalFX folder.

Ok, the latest release has been posted! PLEASE Check the help file under "Revision History" on how to speed up the skin and Road Runner, and a couple of other notes that are important.

I added a few items and enhancements to the skin and updating the installer script, then spent the past couple hours going over the last 5 pages of the forums, and fixing any issues, and adding requests to the skin.

As always, please let me know if you find any issues with the installer, or with the skin itself.

EDIT: I almost forgot! When you are in the iGuidance screen, and tap the "Full Screen" button, the button to return to Road Runner is dynamic. This means it will display a few pixels from the right of the screen. In the car this is perfect, as it will be in the correct place, no matter what resolution you are running. When running on your desktop computer, it will still display a few pixels from the right of the screen. If you are not running RR as full screen on your desktop/test system, the "return to Road Runner" is going to be off to the right of Road Runner.

DNS Lookup Error for me. Anybody else?

Just tested it here with 2 different computers, and it appears to be working fine. Can someone else confirm this? I'm even getting 540k a second! Thats a nice server PlayerBeat has the file on!

Just to play it safe, I downloaded & unzipped it, and all went well with no errors.

Rebooted and shutdown firewall and still no joy. No problem getting anywhere else on web.

I just IM'd LiquidSmoke on Windows Messenger, and asked him to check it, it downloaded fine for him, and he even commented on how fast it was going. Sounds like it has to be something on your end.

Okay, I did some research and this appears to be a quirk that my Hughes satellite system has with certain sites.
