Digital FX 2.0 Transparent Released

Everything seems to be working fine here except for 2 things. Ihave read the help files and searched but could not find the answers.

#1 - The buttons on the left of the music browser, A-C,D-F, and so on do not work. If I press the T button for example it does not take me to the T section of my music. The search function works just fine though.

#2 - The GPS Stats MPG gauge is off, sometimes as much as 20 mph, I have it set to MPH but it is not accurate. If I look at my S&T GPS pane the MPH is correct so my original thought of the port splitter causing this is not the case.

Thanks again for a wonderful skin. Any help you can gice would be great.

Go into RRConfig, hit the GPS tab and make sure that the box next to "International Standard Units" is not checked.

Thanks! That did it. Sweet.

Still have not gotten the letter search to work from the browser menu. 1 down 1 to go.

Also a FYI, I didnt realize it but since I upgraded the skin my logo's were not working. Just like the guy that posted earlier about not seeing the .png files. I copied the latest RR over my current RR.exe and it works fine now. The thing that has me curious is how did my RR get overwritten? I know I had the latest RR.exe prior to the upgrade but somehow after the upgrade the RR.exe was a different file size that the latest downloaded RR.exe. No idea why just figured I would make note of it.

i think in the browser menu, when you hit a letter it jumps to the first SONG with that letter. so if you're like me and have it set up artist - songname it appears to not be working.

or is that in the "playlist" menu.. im new to this too

Hmm, I just assumed if when I was in my Music Browser and it displayed all of my albums listed that I would be able to press the Letter keys on the left side and be taken to that part of the list. Are you telling me it is not suppose to work that way? Maybe I am confused, it is not hard to do.

Your's works with png files? I have the latest rr.exe and I can;t see them, I just figured it was RR.

Yep after I copied the latest RR.exe into the roadrunner folder now my .png works. I can drop a .png image into the logos folder and it now shows up.

Is that going to be the last word on this problem? I am using iG 3.01 because of its ability to work very reliably with Bluetooth devices to channel audio directions into my car radio. What are the plans, if any, for RR and/or DigitalFX to support iGuidance 3.01?

That is from the newest of all newest RR. in fact its an ALPHA that was released the 12th (i believe so). Guino has stated that it is not production ready and for testing only. So i wouldn't not be using that if i were you. The current non beta/alpha version of RR does not support PNG that is why it hasn't been working for jjnt and others.

Kbreeden is correct about rr and digitalfx not playing nice with the newest version. i would say that getting support for it will take some time and most likely not occur for many months part because of guino being very busy on other projects and other tasks and John doing a multitude of other activities that require his attention. Not to mention work like that is slow coming it took well over a month of constant to testing and coding to get many features of digitalfx working correctly such as auto switch to gps and the playlist creation/saving features.
