i know john made the skin around ig 3 but for us uk folk ig 3 does not have uk maps, and i can not see anyway round this to get maps to work in ig 3, so will ig 2 work with the skin that john did and do i have to change button mapping to get fully working with ig 2.

I noticed that if you change the presets on the weather skin, it will default on next bootup; W. Palm Beach for the first one and blanks for the rest. Is this happening to anyone else?

Can I change this on a ini file anywhere?

Well according to the first post in this thread that is the file that I should be using as per John

NOTE: You MUST have the latest RR Beta (01/22/07) for some of the new features to work. You can download it HERE (Just download the Road Runner.exe and replace your current one with it.

Seems to be working fine.

You are correct. John did say that but that was before the latest file that was released by Guino. After doing some more double checking. I believe that file is still good the one he linked to. But be wary of links to beta directories in general because if a new one gets put out it will replace the old one that someone could have been referring to.

That's the one I'm using and I still can't see png graphics. Probably time for me to replace my entire RR directory though as I've used several different skins and my rr.ini file is pretty trashy-looking right now. No telling what else might be mucking it up.

I think I'll try that this weekend and see what happens.

that is the Heavily Alpha version so be wary.

ger_UK: Johns poilcy has been not to release the PSD's. A number of issues occured with that so he no longer releases them. Sorry for the inconvience.

John has not posted to the forum in three days now. There are only a couple of possible explanations:

1. He has departed this mortal coil;

2. He has happened upon a particularly interesting member of the opposite sex;

3. Something really interesting is about to happen with DigitalFX.

For John's sake, I hope it is #2. For our sake, I hope it is #3.
