7 Seconds between screens??! Something is really wrong somewhere. Try using the Digital Clock and Digital time settings, as I think that Flash may possibly not be working right on your system.

4. I realize you've just spent a considerable amount of time getting V2.0 released, but for 3.0 have you thought of using RR Text labels and custom fonts ala Chucks skin so endusers can also change font colors on the fly. I only ask this because I find white backgrounds with black text works best with the top down on my convertables and direct sunlight.

5. I tracked down the spinninglogo.swf (didn't see reference to it in the help file and replaced with my own but my background isn't transparent. The picture option is nice cause it automatically resizes the jpg. I also played around with Tissy's CSC flash logos, but think the FreedomUltimate Speedo is what I'd really like to see as an additional option - That is if CDR's willing to release it as a stand alone flash file. <begging mode off>

6. The mini GPS insert on the audio player blew me away. Can that also be done with the XM and FM screens? Or even a toggle when clicking the logo on the main screen.

Overall, this is a great skin, looks like you've set the bar pretty high for the next guy (Uh hum, KPJUK looks like we got some work to do). I can't wait to try this at 800x1024, I'm sure Turbocad is too.

1. I do not use trackname onthe main menu screens, as that has both the artist of the song, as well as the name of the song that scrolls 99% of the time. I broke down the info using the tag information, as you can glance at the top and see the artist, name of the song, and the album always displayed at the top. Its pretty easy to edit those in notepad of someone wasnts to customize them for their system.

2. Hmmm I am not having that problem here. I just viewed a few pictures, ran the slideshow all without any problems like you described. I did notice that the background of the skin would sometimes show inbetween the pictures. This is probably related to the new GDI code in RR in some way.

3. I had to use the picspath to be able to use RR internal photo viewer to display the images when choosing a background. As this skin dosent use the internal viewer, thats really not a proble, as I just used it for something else As far as creating a BG variable for other skins to possibly use, I cant see that ever working. There is no standard that every skin uses for naming stuff ect, and trying to make one, I relaly do not think is going to work well. As far as subdirectoruies, Many that you mentioned are already in the RR folder once and never duplicated, such as Weather, Gas logo's, Traffic Details ect ect. The ones that are not used over, like weather scripts, are specific to each skin, and how the skinner wants them to work on their particular skin. For instance, if you take my weather scripts, they will not work on Liquid Smoke's skin.

4. That is actually something I mentioned a few posts back, in alsmost you exact words I mentioned that the next release (talking about 2.0) would not include customizable text, as it is currently in the PSD files, and is going to take a major revamp of the skin. After 2.0 is released, I will start working on that.

5. It's in the help file under "How do I change the logo's?" By naming ANY swf file to spinninglogo.swf you can place that in the skin folder, and it will show on the main menu's.

6. I will see about adding that for a future release for the radio and sat skins. The main menu area is just far too small in my opinion to try to squeeze it in there.

I found that problem yesterday tinkering here, and fixed it. I forgot to save out the PNG's for that screen from the PSD's.

My questions is where I can change the 3D logo to a different 3D logo? What file needs to be replaced, and is their a site that might have logos for both Audi and Mercedes? Would just love to get a 3D rotating Audi and/or Mercedes Logo, I think it really spices up the skin! By the way I have Flash logos of both Mercedes and Audi if that helps, from the Simplique skin site.

Poor John. Everytime he finishes something we all begin to see the potential of what he's done and begin asking him for more features. For example, with Bump's files I now have over sixty backgrounds in my folder. How neat would it be for RR to randomly load a different background every time it starts? Or how about loading a new background after a specified time period - say every hour?

Yes, Poor me! hahahah I thought about something like that, and changing the background at random would not be hard, but to see the channge the skin has to be reloaded. This is will disguised in the screen where you change the logo's When you press the change loogo button, the new logo name is saved to the RR.ini, as well as an internal varialble. Then the ReloadSkin command is executed, followed by Load;SkinChooser.skin, so you end up right where you were. When reloading a skin, RR dumps you back to the main menu. I think it would be a hassle to say be on the GPS skin, doing something, when the timer activated to change the skin, and all of a sudden you were at the main menu hehe

I will put out a release this afternoon with the above fixes/changes and a few other little things.

make sure there is one " fastmode= ". if you have 2 , delete the " fastmode=1 "

o.k. now is the file named "rr.ini" or "rr configuration" because i dont see a file named "rr.ini"

EDIT: Disregard, dont know what i was thinking, (frustrated). Hey Bump thanks a lot you were right on. There were 2 "Fastmode" codes in there.
I deleted the "Fastmode=1" and she fired right up. Thanks a bunch bro.

Ok, another Update is in place. This fixes and adds the following items:

• Added New 3-D Logo Browser to choose an animated Vehicle Logo
• Added 8 new Clocks that can be picked through the 3D Logo Browser (Located at the top of the list of vehicle logo's)
• Fixed the MPH / KPH on the Skin Settings skin to switch the GPS gauges to either KPH or MPH
• Fixed the Weather screen so the top right button reads "GPS Weather" (You can change this label by pressing and holding the button, NOTE: this will not change the code, as this button will always access the weather based on your GPS location)
• Added labels on top of the GPS Status Screen to display your current City, State, County, Zipcode, Local Time and Date
• Sliders now match the skin.
• Slider area's now have a larger "Touch" area on the menu screens.
• Icons on the first menu converted to match whatever color is behind them
• Reverted to Jpg background for the CD-Rip Plugin as it does not seem to like the new PNG GDI stuff
• Moved the images on the weather icons a bit to align them better with each other when viewed on the 5-day forecast screen and fixed one incorrect icon for the "Windy at night". (Had the windy leaves with the sun instead of the moon)
• Fixed all of the rest of the icons on the skin to match the Background Picture / color that is being used.

There were a few 3D logo's that I could not find. Ford being one of them. If anyone has a Ford Logo, or one of them that is missing, you can email me at my gmail.com account at johnwpb. I will include it in the next release.

Known Issues:
The weather maps are not downloading and converting to flash files correctly. This will be fixed in the next release
