Thanks for all the hard work and the fast updates, John. More beer money sent!

A couple of issues/questions:

1. The XM skin shows up with the old blue color regardless of the background chosen. Are you planning on making that skin transparent also?

2. Are you going to release the revised XM favorites PSD so we can change the icons around?

3. I see that Guino has added Firefox zoom capabilities to RR. It sure would be nice if we could zoom in and out through the browser skin.

Is there some code that I need to put into a file for the GPS stats and compass to work? I am sure it is in this post somewhere, but sixty something pages is alot to read. I fell behind in this post when I went on vacation. Right now, the GPS stats and compass are doing nothing. thanks

Hmmm, can't help further...yet.
I was just actually starting to mess with this, and I can't find the Xport files. Where are they?

It sounds like Xport isn't running or you have not set things up properly. Try this:

1. Download Xport3 (previous post).

2. Open iGuidance outside of RR. Go to Tools/GPS Options/Autodetect. This will tell you what port your GPS Receiver is using.

3. Load Xport3. Go to the input section and choose the com port determined in 2 above. Then go to the output section. In the first output block choose any available com port from the list. Remember the number because it will be the com port setting that you use in iGuidance. In the second output block pick any other available com port. Remember the number because this will be the GPS setting that you choose in RRConfig. Click the enable service box. Leave Xport running (you should include Xport.exe in your startup folder so it always loads upon startup).

4. Open iGuidance outside of RR. Go to tools/GPS options/Com Port. Designate the com port number that you chose in the first output box of Xport. Exit iGuidance.

5. Open RRConfig. Hit the GPS tab and in the box labeled "GPS Port" type in the number of the com port that you chose in the second output box of Xport. Save and exit RRConfig.

In a typical scenario you should now be able to run iGuidance and the speedo in any RR skin. I have found Xport to be finicky at times so you may have to open Xport and just make sure it is shown as enabled and everything seems to be working. If Xport is receiving the information from your GPS receiver the NMEA data will be shown scrolling at the bottom.

Just an FYI - iGuidance does not play nice with port numbers higher than 9... it will forget the settings every time if you set it higher. Took me a few weeks to find a thread that had the answer to that problem

Example - my setup now is as follows, where before I had iG on like port 13, which does not work

In:com2
Out-08: RR
Out-09: iGuidance
Out-10: Delorme SA (so I can see more POI's)
Out-11: GPStracker
