Wow, impressive!

Things I've noticed so far...

1) On the audio screen, the up & down arrows don't work immediately after you've loaded an album until the highlight bar has moved at least once.

2) GPS doesn't work at all for me. The button doesn't do anything.

3) The Status Screen shows a narrow vertical band in the middle of the screen. The rest is transparent (can see desktop)

I'll try on the carpc in a moment & check for speed on a 1ghz unit.

Very nice work again, just a couple of quick questions?

1. I use windvd for watching DVD's, When I press the DVD button nothing happens. The video clip section works a treat.

2. How do I put the button on for the TV? I use the wintv application.

I also noticed the same problem as Beezer with the status button

Hi Beeezer to get the GPS working you need to amend the menu notepad under button 5 to the text below and it will start working.

we are all too keen what can we say we all like your work.

I'll keep an eye on the DVD side, I got the GPS button to work using my external GPS program.

so impressive is so good....is ther going to be cam option...

understanding that this is an alpha/beta/whatever version, its very nice. couple things i would change:
-the icons on the main menu. they just dont quite fit in. something maybe with less colors.
-is there a visu? couldnt find it if there is one. again, just an alpha so it could be coming.
-i find the little volume number in the corner a little difficult to read.
-different/no sound for exiting menus

bugs maybe? :
-after changing a video, the slider isnt in the correct position

i guess theres only one 'bug'. anyway, these are just my opinions, you can take them or leave them for what they are. great skin and it is definitely going along the way i expected. keep up the good work.


EDIT: i know this probably isnt the place to ask questions like this, but i cannot figure out how you did the shadow for the song title. is it just faded, flipped over, and italics? swishmax wont let me transform/distort a text label. thanks.

I've just tried it on the carpc. It looks GREAT on the lcd. Very impressed.

It resizes brilliantly to 640x480. Button responsiveness is fine on a 1Ghz but screen fades look a bit sluggish. I notice you've got an option in the settings menu to turn them off but it doesn't work yet. Guess that's to come (EDIT - it *does* work but needs a restart of RoadRunner before it takes effect)

The one thing that does look very sluggish is the expanding track number in the middle of the audio screen when the track changes. It takes a good few seconds to fully expand & the screen is locked until that finishes. Makes flicking through tracks a very slow process. Perhaps that can be included in the "turn off transitions for slow machines" settings?

CDR - on the version I'm running ( is that the same as above ? ) I noticed the shuffle / repeat indicatiors on when the skin starts.... this is when the shuffle is off by default btw.
