Hi m8, will add this in a day or so for you. I would of thought it will be in the alpha 0.4 version :-)
This skin is great but maybe I'm a bit of a R-tard... or the OSK button when using an external GPS app (like destinator) is not implemented... in previous Freedom releases there was an OSK button to launch a keyboard to enter your destination address or any related data... (See Images).. I can't lauch the keyboard to enter addresses with this new release... Am I doing something wrong or the osk for navigation it's not fully implemented yet?...
Besides this little nuissance the skin is great, and having the ability to select custom bacground and text colour kicks ***!!!.
Thanks a lot for your work...
Swedish site for CarPC's
Thats a hacked Destinator that comes with centrafuse.. hes just started the destinator.exe which is inside the centrafuse folder.. you then need to amend a file to you can get to the onscreen menu.. simple stuff, there was a big thread about it somewhere If I remember.
CDR any chance of having a button to do this on the fly .. http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/road...ontrol-16.html
Its built into roadrunner now all it needs its a Setvol button to turn on , I guess It depends on if many user would use.
I have been playing with the look (top bit).. what do you all think, better or worse.. ?
You dont really need to read through the whole thread all you need to do is add the command and then you can configure in RR.ini I think this is just a guess with out reading the readme which is at home or out in the car
I Like the look at the top bit I think its better!, Ill have to make my car into a logo is it just the same method of putting the logo file in the right spot.
Taken from the thread I think this is all thats neededGPSVOL is an indicator. It will show when a GPS signal is present. You can toggle the mastermute button to normal volume (then you can use the Vol+ and Vol- buttons to adjust the volume manually), to mute or Att Volume which is calculated by gps speed.
Here is the part from RR.ini for the auto speed volume.
speedatt=true (When you want to use auto volume)
speedattmute=true (Toggles manual mute auto)
speedattunit=mph (set this for miles or kilometers)
speedattgrad=40 ( ? Guino maid know)
speedattvola=10 (The start volume level)
speedattvolb=25 (The max volume level)
speedattspeeda=0 (When to start auto volume, at 0 Mph)
speedattspeedb=75 (When to stop auto volume, at 75 Mph)
speedattmode=line (Linear I think)
speedattvolzero=70 (? Guin maid know)
speedattvolgainat50mph=5 (Raises the volume 5% at 50Mph)
speedattmaxstep=10 (Increments between min and max volume)
You can set the volume at 0Mph and the max volume by any top speed you set.
Hope that helps.
You will need the newest version of RR
CDR a little off the topic but Freedom got featured in the NZPC magazine Link to my car mag Spread, Scroll down a bit. I think you will be pretty proud of this
CDR, can you add support in this skin to make my car fly? Ideally, I would press a button under "Tools" called "Fly Fatass Fly" and my car would pause the music, announce "Flight Plan Engaged" (in a sexy female voice), and once my car has reached an altitude of 5,000 feet, the music would unpause (for safety reasons, of course). Let me know if you could implement this... I can help you with the code if you need it. This would only work on cars/trucks manufactured after 1978 though.
