Hi all. Another great skin Cdr. Good to see ya at the meet although i do believe the pub quiz chopper should have been mine lol

Will get ya next time lol.

Just put on the updated RR and ultimate skin and have a couple of questions??

1) The mixer screen has changed to Wave, Sub, Centre, Side and spdif the freedom skin i had front and rear line which was great when the kids are in the back listening to dvds i can turn the change the rear volume without leaving the skin is there a way i can change what lines are shown in the mixer screen.

2) when i click on the status screen all i get is the desktop with a line down the middle, but i notice from the work log that the status screen is not complete so that may be why.

ok im off to read some encyclopiedias

yes, but that's probably just because the skis is flash based. I have the same music setup as yours, but what I did was create a generic folder.jpg for those few MP3s that don't have embedded art and that's what shows up when I'm using FU. It's such a small Annoyance that I never bothered to mention it.

aha! Thanks. I'm going to have to figure out how to make something show up in the album art area then..

Hi m8.. yeah we rocked at the quizz ;-p

you can set which lines you want to configure by simply opening the menu.txt file, the top line will look like something like 1,2,3,4,5 .. these represent the number of the mixer line...

the status screen isnt finished.. BUT if your on about the settings screen just click the TIME on any screen. Still havent decided on the best way to do the status screen, you can if you wish remove it from the menu by changing the menu.txt again :-)

Unsure why this isnt working, I can only think that the flash albumart label isnt being updated, maybe Guino needs to add this to the dll. I will have a quick chat when hes next online

Unzip and copy the trafficcam.skin to your ultimate skin directory.
To avoid double posting go to post 117 of the following link for a zip of the skins file.

Just unzip it to the skins folder of the traffic cams directory.
Then change your Trafficams.ini file to show skin=Ultimate.
There are a couple of bugs in the plugin that will be fixed in the next release see post 118

I'm not having much luck getting this to work in Ultimate. I can get traffic cams to kinda work in DigitalFX but in Ultimate, I click on the Traffic Cam button and nothing happens. I copied the above menu.txt as instructed.

I'm no expert but I'll try to help. sorry if the questions seem obvious.

Have you tried running the app on its own. You should just be able to double click the exe and all will run ok. You should see the skins I attached when you run it this way as well.

If that all runs fine then it must be something to do with the button code. I had the same thing because my path to the install was incorrect. I would suggest checking that the you actually have the traffics cams software installed in your road runner directory in a directory called traffics cams. If not you would have to change the line to point to the correct place. Other than this you could post your menu.txt file and I'll have a look.

Great work thus far! This skin is amazing!

I have a few suggestions/requests.

I think it would be really cool if the auto Day/Night skin times updated based on the sunrise/sunset times downloaded by the weather app. That would be amazing.

Also, a "Bass boost" type of button on the audio screen. It could have a bass level of 1,2, and 3 which would set the bass at predefined values like 25%,50%, and 100%. This button could be set to control either your "Subwoofer" value, your "Bass" value, or the 60Hz EQ value in winamp.

Also, the various sliders for the EQ should "snap" to the zero position so you dont have to play with them forever to get them lined up in the center.

I don't know if this is something the skin can do, or if it would have to be coded into RoadRunner, but it would be cool if there were "Max Volume" setting for when the computer resumes. For example, if the Max Volume was set at 10% and you had the volume louder than that when you shut your car off, it would lower to that level when you start it back up so that you don't get blasted with really loud music first thing in the morning... Can't tell you how many times I almost crashed the car through the garage when the music kicked on and scared the crap out of me! lol!

I have one small wish for the skin...

How about adding support for the ratings plugin... (http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/1071147-post212.html) since he added the ability to burn cd's with it today... a function that I have been dreaming of for ages!

Always nice to share your fav. playlist with maybe some friend that u give a ride to work or something like that...

CDR - Any chance of the PSDs for this skin... I have some extra bits I'd like to ad and I know your off playing with other skins at the mo ?

Also - any chance you can let us know when your doing this version next ? 0.4 had a few bugs in ( slows the machine down ) but worked well other wise and I'd like to get the manual dial up and disconnect options in the web browser too before your off on your next project.
