Thread: Embed a window of an application (not the whole app)

I want to embed a window of an application, not the whole window (although it will need to run in the background) for example, Winamp's visu is a window of the winamp program. I'd rather use windows media player, not only for the vis's but for the better organization of my music and it has an XMonline plugin. (And for those that would rather use iTunes...etc.)

I'd like to use this for e-mail as well, I'd like a skin that embeds just the Inbox from outlook in a part of the screen. (not the menu tabs, or the left icons, etc.)

I also want to make a few skins for web, one for the browser embedded in my skin, one for full screen browsing, and one for favorites. I'll want to be able to toggle between small and full screen without losing the page I'm on. For the favorites button, I'd like to be able to call up a skin (kinda like the audio and video function skins) that have a few favorites in it. However there will be a few that need password entry, and as little input as necessary is preferred while driving, I'd also like this to input the username and password so I don't have to call up the OSK to automatically type in my info. (I don't care about security, I'll be the only one driving the car, and if I pass it over, I'm installing a hidden valet switch to shut the computer off.)

I can post photochopped screenies later to help understand what i'd like to do.

Basically, I want to make this as safe and easy to use as possible for the car, because once it's overcomplicated, I'm in a ditch.
