Digital FX / Road Runner XM Favorites Screen

I spent a good amount of time customizing my XM favorites today and thought I'd share the files to make it easier for others. Not that anyone would necessarily like my line up, but the supporting files make customizing much easier.

I just got done installing and testing, and all is well on my system!

My current line up (as snapped over the network at reduced colors):

This ZIP file [1,412 KB] has the following items in it...

    1. A revised XM_Favorites.skin that has the correct station numbers to match my screen, but I have also rearranged the entries in the skin file to make it easier to work with. The channels are all listed in the skin in the order they appear on screen. The screenshot explains more...

    2. XM_Favorites.psd - A transparent PhotoShop file populated with all the XM channel logos I used, ready to be saved as "XM_Favorites_On.png" and "XM_Favorites_Off.png" by switching the appropriate layers on or off. There are additional channel logos in there that I thought I might use, but didn't, and these can be turned back on for use.

    3. XM_Favorites_Off.png resulting from my channel choices.

    4. XM_Favorites_On.png resulting from my channel choices.

    5. A folder called PNGS containing 21 .PNG files of channel logos. I couldn't get PhotoShop to work with the transparent .GIF files found in the XMArt folder, so I converted the ones I used into transparent PNGs first.

I liked the look of the logos behind the button layer as it added a little more depth to me, but if you don't, just move the skin layers behind the logo layers.

Hope it helps someone. I know I'll be using it again in the future when the sports seasons change and I need to get some football on my screen! LOL

I did more work on this, replacing the bottom row icons with ones that match the functions (I think). For example... Before, there was a power icon on the scan button.

Anyone tried it? Anyone have at least a flame for me?

The original link to the ZIP file now has updated files... LINK
