Video on 1 of 2 screens

Right, I run a dual monitor setup with the screens essentially stacked on top of one another. Monitor 1 is my Lilliput touchscreen, and monitor 2 is in effect the other 7 screens in the truck, although it is only my Pioneer head unit that is active when I am driving as i have that set up with various flash guages. Here's a pic (only one I could find right now).

The skin is 1024x1536 so that it covers both monitors. The problem I have is that when I go to the video screen, it is stretched across both monitors. Is there a way to define the width and height of the video player itself. I have tried modifying the video player screen in the skin, but that only applies to the panel of controls, not the actual player.

    Did you have an A line (/, A, x, y, w, h, color;RGB) in video_player.skin?
    You probably need that.

Yes, I have seen cdr's app, but that is not what I need. I tried adding in the A line, and it works as long as the video menu is there, but as soon as it hides, the player stretches again.

Sounds like something is set to go to full screen after a the video menu disappears, check your video settings, do you use the built in player or external?

My suggestion is don't use full-screen. Instead, have the full-screen button open a new .skin file which has the A? application area set to appear full-screen on one of the monitors and then you can put whatever you want on the other monitor.
