Digital FX2.0 Transparent Media Copy problem

    Hi all,

I just recently switched over to using Digital FX2.0 as my skin for RR, and so far, I'm totally blown away!

I do have one question/problem though.

Since I've just installed my CarPC, I'm in the process of burning lots of DVD's and CD's to transfer music over to it. Because of that, I was super excited to see the Media Copy function of the Digital FX skin.

However, when I bring the skin up, and click on "D:\" which is my USB attached DVD-Rom.. Nothing happens. The DVD drive does not seem to try to spin up, and the screen never shows the contents of it.

I can go into windows explorer and see/copy the files just fine, but for some reason the skin does not recognize the contents of the drive.

I've done some searching, both on the forums in general, and in the HUGE thread for the skin, and haven't found anything related to this, so I thought it would be okay to start a new thread about it.

Any suggestions? A log file to look at perhaps?

    Thanks in advance!

CarPC Progress ~= 97%. Everything is installed, and operational. Still need to tweak and tune, and do some "finish" fabrication.

Forum Mod, Please move this to the DFX thread

Hello, If a forum Moderator see's this, please move it to the DigitalFX thread, Thanks!

Hmmm, I just tried that here, and it appears to browse my DVD drive OK here. I was thinking it might be a bad disk or something, but you said it works in explorer ok.

What kind of data is on the DVD? Is it a movie DVD, files ect?

It's just a data DVD with lots of directories containing MP3's.

I can just post this in the main thread, but I found it kinda unwieldy to search and so forth, so I thought a new thread would be appropriate. Sorry if I didn't use the proper channels.
