I've been messing with it and the main problem is that the background you select within the skin won't change unless there is a exact copy of the BG folder within the skin - aside from the one referenced by the BG variable. In other words, if you have a BG folder in my documents > my pictures, you also have to have one (at least the same image) in the Shock folder for the BG to change..

    I will work on the weather, in fact, that's the way i was trying to do it in the beginning.
    You're right about th background.skin, but I have consolidated all my backgrounds under picspath. Here is my code that works even in SHOCK v5:
    Code:
    /Background Change Code
    B,558,294,219,92,"SETVARBYCODE;LISTTEXT;LISTTEXT||SETVAR;background;$PICspath$backgrounds\$LISTTEXT$||SAVETOSKIN;background;$PICspath$backgrounds\$LISTTEXT$||RELOADSKIN||Load;PicViewer.skin",
    I am going to try the backgroundpath later, but my code starts the background skin in picspath (my documents > my pictures) and I deleted the backgrounds folder from the skinpath.

    Wow! Thats Awesome Chevyn8! I am going to take a look at your plugin, never realized it but that is a handy piece of software add in there. Can you post up your code? I am downloading it now but I see you already finished a skin for Shock. \

    The code is in the download. It's a little bit big to post.

    Downloaded your code chevy, This was really cool of you to add to the skin. Much Appreciation! I am still going over the readme but this will def. be added in the next release. I really like the idea of plugging in some media and having RR detect and upon your click load and play. Really nice work here, Im glad my skin ended up as an example in your download

    Also wanted to thank gizmo for the code you posted regarding the background directory. This is something that needs to be finished.

    I will be adding and testing these new features along with merging treetops new weather menu. I will have some screenshots here soon

    Everything is finished with the exception of mounting the device. I need to find a good spot in the stang to put the knob without modifying things.

    Next time around I think I am going to get amps that have a remote gain knob instead of using the PC to control the volume.

    Your welcome. Why your skin: Your skin is very easy to modify, especially with the latest skin editor, and you can see the background in the main screen (uncluttered).
