I don't Love it, I don't Hate it however it's better than OK.

I think you did some fast work with the text colour chooser and new custom sliders, I'm also playing around with that but have run into some problems as I am tring to do some different things with it.
I'd like to say that guino implemented the custom sliders at least in part because of me, i was trying to get this done for a while, but couldn't find a viable solution. I'm trying to find a way to use this to select the skin's background color. (sort of like digitalfx's color chooser, but without needing flash) so that's in the works.

Very nice layout, easy to use and easy on the eyes, and an amazing archive size, overall I give it 5 out of 5 stars for an automotive UI.
compressed to 751kb, uncompressed to just under 9mb, I think that says alot about the skin. You can still make a great skin for computers that aren't running the latest and greatest stuff. A lot of the other skins are a lot bigger, example - DFX2.0 = 35.4mb, my AvicZ2 = 53.5

Thanks for all the kind words and suggestions. <fixing the color.skin thing now...>

EDIT: for anyone that had an issue like the ones above with the invisible text, the current download link has this fixed

ok, the first post has been updated with all the new info, and I included the backgrounds and weather folders for those that don't already have these folders.

I am working on the OSK now, so that will match the skin a little better. I'll be saving it for a future release though.

I would love to see the text color chooser implemented and improved upon, so when you guys put it in your skins, let me know, and I'll take a look at it.

here's a preview of the new osk (nothing to write home about, just more closely resembles the skin and adds transparency and allows the custom font color.)

Not an important enough change to add to a new release yet, so it'll be out when the next update comes.

    Bug Maybe?

Everything is working perfectly and the color changing capability is fascinating!

One thing i noticed in the custom color screen is that the left and right arrows on the [HL]left[/HL](my mistake, see below) side , when clicked, will skip focus from slider to slider (as i think it was intended) BUT if you continue to click, it will scroll through all the other buttons as well.

Is there a way to just limit it to scrolling just the sliders?

    Thanks for sharing.

EDIT: Correction - the < > buttons on the [HL]RIGHT[/HL] side. Thanks Enforcer.

I want to make buttons that just increase each slider individually (one on top and bottom of each slider)

But i'm still working on getting this to work right. I tried to use the "EVAL;REDSLIDER;$Red Slider$+257" but that didn't work. I'll be trying to work on this tonight once I get to my laptop.

@enforcer - they are clickable labels, but they just go through the different buttons past the sliders. Same thing happens in the mixer.skin.

updated first post with new hAv1cplus download.

Reorganized first menu to include background and text color chooser quick links, from all other screens, the menu is the same as the old one.

Added transparent OSK, and redesigned the color chooser to have seperate controls to the left of each slider. You can either just press the spot on the slider, or press the buttons for more precision. one thing though, if you hit 255, and press the up button next to the slider, it will go beyond the 255 limit, and the text will not work right. Working on a fix for this soon, it's a minor thing so it may be a while for that.

    any other suggestions?
