This may sound stupid, but...........
How do you change the band fm to am so you can save the hidden preset in the first place?
I can save the hidden presets, I just can't figure how to switch it to am to save that band for the skin?????
****Nevermind, I figured it out. Just tune to the freq you want and save as am and fm bands have different freq numbers. Duh,**********

Hd makes since but sorry I should have been more pacific. I mean the hidden presets 1&2. for some reason they are not were the instructions say.

Are you holding the "invisible" button long enough?
Pick a station, click and hold the area, then change the station with the tuning buttons. Click the "band" button and if it goes back to the station you first chose, then it's working. It took a little "fiddling around" on my part to get it right though......

I got Fm working but AM still no go. I will mess around with it. Thanks for you Help
Are you tuning in an am station when you try to program the hidden preset?
Enter something like 860 in the direct tune window and then hit the hidden button for preset 2 (or 1, whatever you don't have programed.
Am stations use up to 3-4 tuning numbers (860, 1070, etc), fm staiona use more (104.90, 100.10, etc).
Give it a try. I kind of frigged me up until I remebered how the radio tunes it's freq's.................
