if you have sygic working as the "external gps" option and you have also renamed the "destinator.skin" file to be "exterlan_gps.skin" ... then you wil need to change the line inside the "external_gps.skin" file that reads ...

A01,0,60,800,540,000,"Destinator"

to be ..

A01,0,60,800,540,000," <your GPS program window name> "

and if your screen resolution is 800 x 480 you will need change the co-ordinates on the line as well to be ...

A01,0,60,800,420,000," <your GPS program window name> "[/B]

Thanks, it works, but with a little problem. I see that RRHQCT.exe loads, and I see then the skin's radio page, the frequency, the stations, etc, but only for 2 seconds. Then I see again the main screen. Meanwhile I hear the radio and when I click to the radio button I see again the radio screen, but only for 2 seconds. Maybe something puts back the focus to the main screen. I tried with my home pc and carpc also, the result is the same. Is it OK, or did I something wrong?

that needs to be worked on, as i know val has no HQCT to test with , have a look at the forums about HQCT and see if there's any info about Setting this up , it may help in getting a skin sorted or it maybe somthing you can do yourself. Have you had this working in any other skin other than Teknik, if so what skin did you get it working in may help.

I'm sure that Val will look into this for you,but any help you can provide will speed a result up for you.

You don't need any hardware, as I don't have any radio hardware with my home PC. I selected HQCT at rr.ini, then I started RR with Teknik skin, pushed the Radio button and there is the radio skin - but only for 2 seconds, then switches automatically to the main page.
I tried the same with my carpc (there is the HQCT hardware), but the result was the same. Also the same when I select HD radio at rr.ini, it seemt this is the HD radio skin's problem. Works perfectly, but I can't see the radio skin

as carputer1 says i've no way of testing HQCT - to be honest at the moment I'm not even sure what it is .. need to do some searching.

one thing you might try is this ...

in the file "ExecTBL.ini" in the TEKNIK2 folders .. comment out the line

"TIMER","SETINDBYLABEL",Radio_Player.skin which is located in the HD Radio Support section ... this is used by HD radio to update indicators every second .. this might be the rason that the radio skin dissappears after one or two seconds ..

I'll look into the HQCT stuff and if I find anything else I'll come back to you ...
one other thing, have to got HQCT working on any other skin ? if so can you let me know ..

HQCT is a car specialized radio tuner product, it has an mp3car.com thread here


RR has embedded support for this unit, look for the HQCT folder at RoadRunner main folder, RR starts rrhqct.exe when you push the radio button in every skin. I used DigitalFX skin before and worked perfectly, this is the first time when I see in a skin that the radio skin disappears after 1-2 seconds.

Unfortunately, the uncomment doesn't work, the result is the same

ok i have added Visual's to the player skin, using DFX2 code.
on the album art tap the left side to satrt Vis and left side to move to the next Vis.
