most people uses photoshop or some good image editor. but i guess PS is the most popular.

I got some work issues yesterday. But today I'll start the transparent stuff again

well I think I finally managed to get to grips with software that can actually make transparent images for me ... Paint.NET ...

Here are two images from RR actually running with my first attempt at a transparent skin with two different backgrounds. Ignore the buttons they are from the audio browser skin but it's the audio player skin that is working ... it's a start.

Let me know what you all think about the levels of transparency - especially on the black bands top and bottom ...

Not sure about the IG3 support ... I don't have IG3 or IG4 over here in ireland, and someone (treetop777) kindly designed the IG4 screen for me and I just added it to this skin. Maybe someone on these forums could provide the basics for an IG3 skin and I can draw it up and include it ...

I might just hold you to those beers - if I ever get to TX ...

Hey El Camino, you might have to wait a little bit for the transparent version ... but rest assured it's on it's way ... most probably over the christamas break I'll get them finished, and finally be able to release a Teknik v2.0 Transparent ...

I have an update for IG4 which is being added to TEk1 this weekend. Perhaps this will work for IG3 as well ?

REALLY good

1 tip on the audio player skin
i'd use sliders for time (i prefer them WITHOUT the marker. just a filling bar). they are just more natural to manipulate and see. u can always have the numeric counters on the the slider bottom too

another desing tip:
try always align stuff. human brain just likes simetry. I'd align the artist name to the album's art top and the time text to the bottom. keep them grouped as it is now and try putting a slider close to the counter
