I knew your background.skin dilemma would come to a close in v 6

    Looks great treetop!

Indeed, we can now all use a backgroung.skin with a central BG folder thanks to you. However, in light of this RR Config Updated - Blue ZX3 post #442, we should make the changes necessary in the BG.skin code to make it use the line that is written CORRECTLY by RRConfig in rr.ini and not have to input anything manually - that should be simple, right?

I suppose it would be as easy as changing all the $backgroundpath$ to simply $background$ in the skin file.

This is strange because when the first thoughts of adding this to RR the variable was known as backgroundpath, and it has to be in RR somewhere because it works great!

Ill test it out, see if it works.

We'll I had it working and then I did a fresh install on my cf and this is what I get. I have updated the flash and the lastest RR. I also updated the ExecTBL.ini file. I can change to DFX 3.0 and it looks right. I'am missing something just don't know what. Any help would be great. Thanks
Why buy it if you can build it? Even if it cost twice as much to build.

@Treetop- Went to my display properties > settings > color quality and changed from 16bits to 32 bits and that fix it. Cool thanks for the link

another thing that can cause the pink ilists is if the bmp isn't big enough to cover the area it's supposed to. i ran into this in my skin, and the best way i found to overcome it is to make the ilist bmps 800x600 resolution, that solved it for me.
