disable button on dfx skin

How do I disable a button on the digital fx menu?
I want to disable the rip cd and some other buttons.

Just remove the button code in the skin file. It will render the button useless.

you can delete the defined button areas but, unless you edit the menu_off.png image you will still have what looks like something someone can push..

1. download the skin editor
2. open the dfx skin
3. navigate to the screens that you want to change using the "Sceen" menu in toolbar
4. select the btn to disable
5. hit delete.
6. save
7. done, exit, and restart rr..

which skin file are you talking?
skin.ini on the dfx folder?
