Carwings v1.0 - RELEASED

Here you go; coverflow for Carwings. I haven't tested it in on my carPC yet, just on my desktop. I turned off reflections to improve performance. I also created a carwings background and deleted all the others.

If you've never used coverflow for RR before, I'd recommend reading the plugin thread by moahdib.

I like the coverflow! Looks like the left buttons should be a curve menu though to fit the rest. Either way Very nice development Machinehead!

Thanks. I was going to make some changes to it but the flash file is locked and can't be edited. At the very minimum I was going to change the blue highlighted buttons to orange highlights. No dice though.

I'm going to play with a few other album browser options. I know not everyone can run coverflow due to how resource heavy it is.

I aint too clever @ skinning... although i get the basic principles using the skin aditor, and just started using Adobe CS2

How does everyone create logos/icons on there buttons?

Like the folder icon on this image...

This skin is coming along nicely, glad to see everyone chipping in...

As promised, the install was just finished. Here's photos of it in my 03 G35 Coupe. I must say, it looks FANTASTIC and right at home on the infiniti dash.

(sorry about the horrible contrast/brightness of the screen, I had to pretty much turn the settings all the way down on the monitor in order for the UI to show up on my camera =X)

I've been trying to find screen shoots of the original Carwings for a while now. I have changed the skin to look more like the OEM version from what I have seen.

No where near finished as yet. Here's a sample based from the original RR release from this thread.

I second that...an updated skin would be a must. Do all the combined additions work together fine?

I can't wait to see that on my first carputer. You've been asking for pictures on a Nissan, all I can do is to upload a picture of that on my Infiniti M35, when it's ready.
