The albumart does work for me to; and i have them named however i want. It would be good for the skin to start with the vis active, right now it starts with a big empty box untill you activate the vis..

Definitely needs audio controls on the main screen, and really, every screen. When they are in a consistent location, they are much easier to use without having to take your eyes off the road.
Some of the symbols are a little cryptic. But after touch and trial it becomes a little more clear.
It's definitely a good start, but it does need a little work. Can't wait for the updated release.

MonkeyRacer, didn't you have a way to start the vis when the skin starts? I seem to remember something like that in your earlier skins; if you do, that might be a good addition to this skin..

Album Art works fine in all other skins... Will try again later tonight to make sure though.

For it to work perfectly on my old skin, I had to set each button that exits from that skin to first turn off the VISU and then go to the other skin, that way when I came back to the Audio player, it auto loaded the VISU again.

Really shouldn't be that hard actually, the way this skin is designed, there's only 3 buttons that leave the visu skin. So on those three buttons, just add the visu command before the button's actual command.

I'd still leave an invisible button in the VISU area so if it gets out of cycle somehow, the user can just press the visu area to activate or deactivate it.

I want to say that I recently tried it with my mAv1c skin and I don't think I needed to turn it off when I navigated away from the menu.skin. When I'd come back to the menu.skin it seemed to stay there. I want to double check when I get home to that computer to test it though.

i dunno why yours dont. do you have it setup in RRconfig to start visuals on startup?

I don't have mine start on load since for the most part, I won't have the VISU running, I have my main screen focus more on the song than the visuals (I'm driving, I won't look at it while I'm driving, if the passenger wants to watch the visuals, they can press the visu button...) But this is my personal preference.

Album art works on every single skin I have on my computer, except this one and it doesn't really make any sense. You have the same commands as the other skins...
It shows at first, but if I navigate away from the menu.skin and back, the image goes away... Visu is working fine now...

I made a few changes to your skin to make it easier to test out, like I copied over an exit_menu.skin from another skin, and made the "More" button actually load the menu2.skin

hehe yeah i just fnished the audio controls on the main screen aswell i'll upload it later on when i get some more time.

and my visu and menu2 work so i don't see why everyone else's wouldn't. and i havent' changed anything there.

I can upload the whole skin later tonight, but I wanted to see if GMC would post the PSD's so we can actually make other changes as well. I'm sure he's hard at work on this skin, and I kind of wanted to give him time to post an update first.
The buttons are not lined up in all the skins, and the menu2 doesn't have the labels it should have (time track artist and album) and the exit_menu is from my avicted skins, which nowhere near match this skin. So if we had the PSD's we could probably help further the development along.

ok i updated a few things as you requested.

- audio controls on main menu
- visuals loading on startup
- menu 2 works (added labels aswell as audio controls)
- exit menu added
