Well I have been working on my new skins and here are a couple.

I have been creating files and flash stuff all week and weekend . I have contacted the Fusion Brain guys and will be ordering one of them next week.

I must say its not to bad after you get the hang of it and working on just parts of it each night helps as well. I still have a long way to go. I figure I will have about 30-40 skin pages in total.

Let me know what you all think. Thanks

Man I know what you mean, creating pages in flash is a HUGE pain in the rear. But you're putting a fair amount of detail into them and I really love them. Any chance you'd be willing to release your FLAs? I really really like those gauges!

Simple and clean. A lot of skins are pretty but cluttered. When you actually use them in the car, they aren't as functional as they appear at first glance.

I have to be brutally honest here...
    More of the same
A lot of the skins use this same concept. Clock or image in the middle of 6 to eight buttons on the side. Looks good, but not too original.
If you remember the alpine skin.... kind of the originator of this whole concept

There are a lot more I am sure of it. Because it is such a suitable theme to follow and very versatile one and hard to improve upon because it is so well designed as far as a main menu goes.
Iam not bagging on you just showing the other side of the coin

I do like what you did though with the brushed steal

Just to name a few more following the theme but are also very successful skins
    Robbys BMW

    Simplistique

    Brushed Orange

    FFS

    System Error

And of course the RR default
    Brushed Metal

Some of these skins never even materialized, but if this skin does make it to a release I will be more than happy to add it to the list.

Even the newest and probably the most attractive skin I have seen in a while is
    MGD'S Omega
It is a very well done skin that also follows the idea of the Brushed Metal clock in the middle thing. Just hides it a little differently.

    Again meet the competition
