Simplistique Red

Hi, I am working on changing the simplistique skin to a red theme to better go with the audi im going to be using it in. Here are pictures of the menuon, down, and off. Take a look and tell me what you all think. If you are saying to yourself, wow, it looks like he did this in paint, you are correct. Any advice, or people that want to help as well, let me know.

Not sure if this will help or not, but I have a font that has pretty much all the icons you are using that you can download. You could make them labels, and then have the ability to change the color just like any other label.

Here's a sample of the icons, but there will be an update to this very soon, it might be worth waiting for. I'm going to reassociate the labels with the letters that make sense, ie: R = repeat, S = Shuffle, etc...

I think I saw someone else here try to make the colors better to change out, but I can't find the thread for that.

You'll definitely want a better image editing program though, paint.net, photoshop, etc. Something with layer control and a lot more options than what MS Paint provides.

What font is that? I would like to try it out, seems very useful for skinning.

It's on my mAv1c skin's thread (and included in my hAv1c+ V2.x skin), but there will be a new version of it where the symbols make more sense to which letter they represent. Soon, hopefully.

It's aptly named CarPC.ttf.
