New BMW iDrive Version, possible new skin perhaps?

Another interested party here! I only use RR for music and video (GPS in a standalone app), and a super simple skin is just what I want!

Small update:

Exit menu and video player are done for both day and night version. Also I changed the layout for the labels in the top bar a little bit. Audio player stayed the same but all other screens will now have the trackname displayed instead of the tracknumber and the date.

I actualy want to remove the date completely but sometimes it can be usefull to have it displayed so I was wondering: Is there a possibility to make a label toggle between two values. My example: Normaly the time will be displayed but when you press on the label it will change to the date. Is there a command available in RR that will make this happen?

EDIT: never mind. There seems to be such a thing as "switchlabel" In the command list. Tomorow I will give this a try.

You need to take the canvas size larger and then do a large elipse and then a slightly smaller one inside it

i took your advice and i like the results. i added my flash pizazz to it of course and here's the result. Sorry for the quality ... i sped up the FPS in hopes of showing the animations between links. This of course is just the main menu but the rest of the skin (if finished) would following the same transitions. As with all my skins the skin color, wallpaper, and most everything else are configurable!

Can't get it to play here (and this is a media company).

it says MSCRAM codec, can you do it in a more recognised one?

Ok for me E. I know that doesn't help you very much but I done 'save target as'. Of course, you may not be able to do this at work (if that's where you are) as I know my work PC wouldn't allow it. Just wanted to let you know its not a bad link.

I did a save as and was able to download it, so I know it wasn't a bad link.

However WMP wants to download a codec and seing as I am at work I'm not sure it's recommended.

moved it to some other PC's which deal specifically in playing media files as they just play audio and leave the screen blank.

It looks like it uses a codec called MSCRAM, which seems to come with some capture devices, so maybe you had one of them installed at some point.
