    Command "Menu", Backgroundscreen OFF

    with the command... MENU;POPDOWN.skin" i can load a screen as window over the existing screen.
    is it possible to switch the backgroundscreen, for this windowscreen, OFF ?

    Unfortunately the simple answer is no.

    There are however a couple of other options, you can make the background for the pop-up an .jpg in your on/off/down images, thus it would not use the transparencies on that screen.

    The other option, is a plugin (I THINK that ElCamino wrote) that uses autoit to draw the buttons over the top of the screen.

    Yup. Search: OVERLAY

    The drawback of the plug in is that processing label codes is process intensive and there is currently no further development of the plugin. If you're just using it for buttons, works out real good.
