You can do this, but you will still need a menu.skin, audio player.skin and so on. Just use the same images for all skins.
I've been working on my skin for a little while, making subtle changes here and there and I've run into a problem. From the pics below you can see that the whited areas is where i plan to add the contents but I was wondering if there was a program/plugin where the contents change only in the whited area and not the entire skin. ie: most if not all skins have home.skin, music.skin, video.skin, and etc but i want to be able to have just 1 skin file (Home.skin) and have all the contents only change within the box and not recreate a new skin for all other pages.
well i kno i can use the same images but i was hoping that i wouldnt have to create a menu.skin, audio player.skin. is there no other way to just switch between contents only within the white area? I was thinking and maybe fill the whited area with internet explorer or firefox and code/embed the navi and the traffic view in there but i dont think ie/firefox supports the embedding navigation and other external programs
well in mine i have the top and bottom bars as 1 image that i overlay all my other scrs,
my other screens are in the size between the top/bottom bars , but you will still need all the skin files to go with it. theres no other way for it.
when you say skin files are you meaning the graphic skin files or the code skin files, if its graphic then yes you can use i screen and use images called in on enter of that scr MKIII Imag'ine is set up this way.
but if you mean the code .skin then no you still need them.
navigation and such. i just didnt want to keep adding the top and bottom files over and over again on every page!
Sorry, but 1 more question. As you can see on the images above, if I were to overlay the top and bottom image, would I still be able to implement the track slider with play/ff/rr/stop button rollover images as well?
if you do it as an img cmd you will need 3 images on/off/out
