FLASH PROGRAMMER NEEDED: Flash Altimeter Guage

I had made it so it will use meters if it gets "m" or feet if it gets "ft" in the GPSALT variable from Riderunner.
unit display for meters is x10, for feet is x100.
I assumed the value in ft comes without decimal value, if it does let me know and I will modify because it surley won't look ok.
Please test it in feet as I only tested in meters inside Riderunner.

Number display of the altitude is only in pure text field. I am afraid I won't make the fancy analog counter.

I also want to add a satelite nr. display info somewhere.

This looks perfect in my skins. Unfortunately, like you mentioned earlier, it does fall off fast when sats drop out. For some reason, its also jumping back and forth between meters and feet - probably because I have so many other timed scripts. Will do some more testing and pull my debug. Would changing the update rate smooth this out? i.e., update every 5 or 10 seconds?

Beautiful work! Just a couple bugs to work out.

What does the GPSALT variable show when jumping from meters to feet ?
This is how I test for meters (read_frame is the variable for gpsalt)
I asume if it has m at the end it's meters, otherwise it's ft

After more testing and logging its not your program where the problem exists. Out of 5 tries, one was stable. Wasn't an issue with the flash; more like somewhere between RR and the GPS. I thing my GPS is going bad; will swap out the GPS puck this weekend and try again.

Hi Guys can some 1 pls let me Know how do i ge this to work in Feet....instead of meters...
Just like the iphone applications have the Feet function...

Are you getting the white background with this gauge? For some reason I am getting the white background, which is strange, as white is the color that RR is supposed to make transparent....

This got transparent for me, as I could see the main backround in a test skin I installed it.

I think that the good way is to have in metre and another in feet .

Ok, after hearing others see it as transparent, I tried re0installing Flash. That did it for some reason. I just installed Flash 10 when I built and installed windows from scratch a few weeks ago. Also strange, is the other gauges, logo's and all other stuff in the skin was working correctly.... Strange. Never the less, it is working correctly now.
