Thread: Skin Editor [ v0.7.8 Updated 4/17/11 ]

Nvm fixed it.

I just had to do the rr upgrade thing as it was its time... that works fine.

but now the skin editor ver 0.76 keeps bringing up this error "richtx32.ocx may be outdated"
this happens when i try and open the virtual editor.
just checked and it does it on other skins too.



ive manually added that file that came in the dir with the skin editor exe to the registry, even rebooted just in case.

any suggestions?

also just tried the richtx32 file from the .75 file in the first link here too, no joy

Thats odd...I've never seen that message posted by anyone before, in dealing with the editor.

fixed it..
removed a bunch of reg entries with richtx32 in them

then deleted the copy in the c:\windows\system32 dir

re copied the proper version into the system 32 dir

re applied the bat file in the skin editor directory to re register it.. now it works.

Very often, when I use , I think RRconfig, i loose the time and date config.

my settings must to be that:
dateformat=Short Date
timeformat=HH:MM

and often i found that:
dateformat=
timeformat=

I don't know why !!!

so I have tried to no avail figuring out why this thing will not load I keep getting the path not found even after trying every single sub folder it still will not load. Any help is appreciated.

Same problem for me just on xp, not on vista !!!
