Haven't had a chance to try another, but I will soon. I'll do a debug log as well.

Do you need a certain amount of screen card memory for ILIST to work?
    Thank you

Don't even need a 3D card -- I think anything with more than 2Mb video ram should work... maybe even less.

Make sure you dont have any software that may disable directX.
I was using some screen capture software that disabled it when I last ran it.

Hmm... I dont believe I was using anything that would have messed with that. Is there a easy way to tell if directx is enabled?

from the start menu in XP, select run
    then type in DXDIAG
once the direct x diagnostic screen comes up
Click the display tab and around the middle of the screen it should tell either enabled or disabled. If any of the selections are disabled, enable them.
I didnt even think until a little bit ago to check this. My ilists were working great then they just quit after trying to record something for youtube...
    Anyway.. GOOD LUCK

I think the majority of my problem is attributed to OSCC: Old ****ty College Computer with too much crap.
I will test on another computer later. (still taking suggestions though)
