I have to say I'm not a big fan of the icons too, or any stock icons for that matter.

I'd love to see some custom made icons somewhere...but I not an artist either, and I know how difficult it is to get it done. They must be all consistent (size, colors, shape), like the ones on the iPhone to look right, and still, they'll never replace the written word.

Icons are very popular in all skins though...the worst icon for me is the small parabolic antenna to indicate internet connection - it's everywhere and it's cheesy! I'm glad you didn't use this one.

So my opinion is, take the icons out, and leave them for the top right part and work as idiot lights/indicators there. As far as buttons is concerned, I'd rather see no icons, but that's me.

I like your efforts, and I'm in the process of installing some of the above additions.

I started with the 4 menus (didn't work so far, I'm still working on it), and RR Media, hope it doesn't mind there's no Road Runner directory here (just riderunner). I know it won't work with my huge collection, but I want to try and make it run over one directory at least.

Next I'm going to instlal skype, minicam and rrmail skins.

The problem with the icons on the buttons is they just look wrong.

The buttons also have labels plus the little orange dots as well.

If you want to do icons then maybe replace the dots with icons, but make the icons in a similar style to the orange buttons, ie orange and 3D

I changed the referenced pngs on menu3.skin to menu2.png, etc.; same thing with menu4.skin; it makes references to menu4_off.png, but I think it should be the same as on menu2? Don't know, but that's a way not to duplicate files.

Also I added the exit_menu.skin from carwings dynamics thread. I think you could add that too.

Don't change anything , they are specific for each menu .

I am sorry , i don't understand well . Do you want to share your work on Carwings or that i upload all my files. If this is the second thing , you have already all Add Ons files in this thread .

1-Install RideRunner with the last release.
2-Download the add on that you want .

Okay, but the *.pngs are missing then, and menu3, menu4 won't work.

EDIT: Sorry, I just checked the "E" version and the menu3_on.pngs etc. are there now. Thanks!
