    "BACK" command and Directory Listing

    I noticed that a directory listing of the music path, will not allow you to use the "BACK" command to browse to the directory before your specified music folder. For example if my music path is c:\media\music, I won't be able to use the "BACK" skin command to get to c:\media\

    I want to use this type of limitation for my playlist directory listing. I am using the following code in my skin to open my playlists in my audio browser:

    Code:
    B07,503,241,210,85,"Load;AUDIO_BROWSER.skin||SETPATH;$PLAYLISTPATH$",
    The audio browser opens the directory just fine, and I am in the correct playlist folder, but I can still use the "back" button to browse all the way to the root (c:\). I just want to prevent this from happening so my wife won't get confused if she is looking for playlists. Thanks

    So I checked that setting, and its already set to true. I think it only applies to the music path? I changed it to false, and sure enough when I browse in the music folder, I can back up all the way to root.

    You should be able to use this type of limitation by specifying the path using the SD definition -- It will only limit if Pathlimit=true. SETPATH is just not limited in any way, so it will allow you to do anything you want and go anywhere you want.

    Thanks Guino,

    The audio browser skin I'm using (Reborn / BMW E36) uses an ilist to show the directory listing, could that be the reason? How would I set this limitation in an ilist, when I specify the playlistpath? Thanks

    I second that. It's one of the best and most practical features that has EVER been added to Riderunner.
