Ok, so after play around with my phone for a while...i realized i would love to have a carpc skin that looks like AndroidOS...
I'm thinking it's going to have to be flash based since RR alone doesnt support dragable menus...(like the Android App Drawer acts)...
I guess I could have just ported AndroidOS onto my carpc, but Android's media player doesnt like my high bitrate WMA's as well as since it's a linux based OS, RR and the plugins available wont even run on it...which i REALLY need the plugins I have, lol...
So, anyone up to the task of helping me make an Android-like skin?

either use a hardware accelerated front end or use an html5 based front end... using rr and flash will either look terrible or perform terribly-even if your CPU can handle the graphics there wont be much left for anything else.

if only certain parts were flash then you would still have poor performance in the parts that were flash...just not in the other ones. What RR plugins do you need for your "carpc to work right"? I can't think of any that at least cf doesn't also have...and its capable of at least some accelerated effects.Originally Posted by sxtnitehawk
