Thread: Vertical line using transparent pop ups

Wow! Nice one! This has been something that has been wanted for a LONG time by many. Being it has not been available, we have just found ways to work around it

Will it have full transparency, or just on or off? (Thinking drop shadow, where it is not completely a solid drop shadow)

Haha I had worked on it for about 16 hours or so before I asked for help. Then last night I altered the empty image to add a 2 pixel wide solid FF00FF border, which did solve the problem.... then when that was done I changed it more, up to the point I said forget it, yes it was looking fine, but the (byte)size of the bmp's or the way popups are called resulted in a performance hit I wasn't prepared to live with so added the layer to the main underlying screen.

Actually that was another issue that helped me with my decision, the drop shadows, they always seemed to have a pinkish appearance.

johnw, full transparancy... drop shadows work nicely...as you can see i got one in that image
