Vertical line using transparent pop ups

When the pop up window appears I have a vertical pink line showing to the left, I have made sure the image widths of the layers are all the same, and that there are no residual pixels in any images.

Any idea what is causing this? Or better yet how do I get rid of it?

    Tia.

1-make sure you're using a BMP file (so compression doesn't change the color of the pixels)
2-if you're resizing the skin, try using the original resolution of the skin to see if it still happens.

    Let me know your results.

If it's a jpg the compression will take slightly off pink.

The background image is a jpeg, the layers of the menu displayed in the background are .png's and the pop up layers are all .bmp.

Resizing the skin just isn't doable at all, I loose all transparency when i do that, so the skin is created in 800x600 and displayed at that resolution. The pop up is 540 x 293.

    Thanks....

Just tested it without the background, problem still exists, so we can rule that out...

The image you posted is dithered, and not a solid pink. That is why it looks purple instead of pink when it is zoomed out. Make sure the pink is color #FF00FF, and fill it, solid, in that color.

Here is a screen cap of the image you posted, zoomed in:

Give this image a try, it is not perfect, as you will need the original layers to make a nice clean image. I painted the best I could with the correct color, but again, its not perfect due to the dithering.

It is good enough to test though to see if this fixes the problem.

That is better, now there are a couple of lines only where the black intersects the pink. Easily fixable, now that you have identified the problem, thank you!!
