Start button creation!?

I have figured out(through testing) that the problem with my button not working is not the command....but rather the placement on the skin. For some reason no button placed in that area of the skin where I want my button will work (marked with red X)....as if that area is a dead zone on all skin screens. How do I fix????????

You probably have a button or something else overlaying that area

post your .skin and any associated files

The reason that no button will work has to do with the static.elite file it requested on all skins in eLite 2.
This button was placed here as a holder for later use.

If you want to use it open, the file "eLite 2\elite\static\Static.elite" in notepad and edit "B,180,420,88,60,"",".
The "/IMG,180,420,88,60,"icons\players\.png",all" line is where icon/image will go for this button.
Once you have made the changes, save and the button will work on all the skins, expect the navigation/gps.

I just love this skin....the best ever!!!!!

P.S.: I'm using the "Zune" windows theme...since it is a black theme that matches perfectly with the elite skin

This little program was the missing link next to the static edit....now all is perfect with the Startmenu button

Now I need to figure out how to get my wifi skin working and my phone skin

Also....the arrow button takes me back to the previous screen on all screens except the main "Welcome" screen. I would like to put another button there that would open up my rear view camera skin there(only on the welcome screen....leaving the others as they are)....how do I do that, since that area is dead on the "Welcome" menu skin????
