h2.zip contains 2 flash files without and backgound behind the logo...
H2withBG.zip has 1 file with a background behind the logo for those of u with lighter colored skins...

350 Z logo for RR Skin?

I don't want the spinning nissan one. I would like someone to direct me to the actual z logo to put on my RR Skin. Help if you can.

    open new document (ctrl+n)
draw a square and convert it to movieclip (f8)
double click on movieclip so you are supposed to be in that movieclip if it's not locked accidently.
erase the square in this movie
    file>import>import to stage
once it is done go to main timeline
there will be the size of movie and frame rate
12 is default, put it on what do you like

    Hey all,

I started playing with flash about 5 days ago and after a few pointers from a friend I've mae my own animated nissan logo.

I didn't want it to be moving all the time so this flash movie is 5 minutes long, the logo moves 4 times and has normally about 1 minute up to 1.5 minutes in between movements.

It rotates partially CW (clockwise) and CCW (counter CW), it rotates fully CW and CCW, it spins partially smaller (IE: Into the background) and it spins completely into the background then back to normal size again.

Its not perfect but for a few hours in flash over this week I think its pretty good. I'm not up for requests yet, I've got some more ideas for this one.

Anyway use it if you like it!

For anyone wanting to try this themselves I'll give two hints:
    1) Motion Tween is your friend
and 2) Static frames save file size (if you don't want movement)

If anyone wants some steps of how I did this I've got them written down just PM me and I'll send them on

    Cheers,

    Burjo.

    logos

There are a few on google search that could be adapted in flash and made to move just as easy as the nissan logo I did.

    http://images.google.com.au/images?q=thundercats&hl=en

Like the plain red and black one with the title underneath it, just cut the logo from there.

You have to put the picture into Flash (I have FLash MX on my pc) and publish it into a flash movie.

With flash you can make it move around or just have one frame of it being motionless, depends on what you want.

Once your ready to publish it, in flash you hit publish.

Then select Flash movie, you can change the filename to Logo.swf and publish it somewhere (desktop for example). I would then go into the RR directory, into skins, find the logo.swf file in there and rename it (IE: originallogo.swf ) so you still have it incase yours doesn't look as good.

Then place your new logo.swf into that folder from above and restart RR.

I use the Simplistque (spelling??) skin and the nissan logo looks good....the only thing I'm going to do is make it a bit bigger so it fills the space in the middle better (like the original BMW one does).

What program do we need to edit these .skin files and .swf files?
everyone just says edit this or that but no-one says how.

.skin files are text files, you just need a text editor like notepad. Refer to Skin Commands.txt in RR's folder.

.swf can't be edited but you can make them with Macromedia Flash or Swishmax -- both require some skillz.
