Cheers, at least someone knows what i am on about. I would do the software myself but i dont have time or the ability like boris and Frodo et al. But guys if you want to carry this on get in touch and i will happily work ont he mechical stuff if someone works on the software. I have ideas for a complete servo system to control the 3 dial hvac systems which costs a few $ + 3 servos which is designed for those times when your PC is not running or crashes. And it can run in parrallel and is so simple.

I am talking about a car like the scooby WRX that has 3 dials and 2 buttons. SOOOO many cars use this setup - especiallyolder ones which are exactly where the market is because newer cars are generally easier to fit LCDs in due to them being designed with satnav in mind whereas old cars have to have the AC controls relocated.

As for hardware a simple stamp circuit would work for the 3 servos, 2 relays and 2 inputs. The user would be required to do some cutting/soldering but it would not be too much trouble.

I know the system you're talking about. My mom's and grandma's sentras have em.

How do you control a stamp circuit again?
