haha. thanks. that means a lot coming from the great frodo. haha. got a long way to go, but i got the basics down. what should i put in the middle of the menu when there's nothing to be displayed, like the main startup screen? my goal is to have the menu like that on every page, except for videos of course, so you dont have to go back to the menu page all the time.

That's a good idea. For video, maybe you can just have the video displayed inside the empty space and have a Zoom button to make it full screen.

Also, a couple of icons on the main buttons would be nice.
