One thing though, the clock/date display doesn't quite look like it matches. Maybe those should have a 'depressed' aqua button look to them.

i MIGHT fix that. the hue is still the same. it's just darker. i'll play with it. thanks.

should i put in the middle of the menu when there's nothing to be displayed

I think you should leave it relatively blank so everyone can add their own custom labels, unless you decide to do something with it. There are some many labels to choose from, you could probably fill up that whole space. As for the colors, I really like how the aqua menu turned out and it's not over kill at all. If you decide to design something for the middle, I suggest using white text labels with maybe that dark blue gradient that you used in the top corners. btw, I think the time/date looks fine

yeah i just tried matching the colors and it really kinda makes it overkill. its amazing what a small amount of another color can do to add depth and bring out the light blues more.

thats color theory folks! yay! that's why im an art major!

yeah, she's actually a friend of mine. she lives down the street from me in union city. my buddy and her took a couple mass comm classes together at cal state hayward. she graduated last year. we go out to dave and busters in milpitas sometimes. she's kind of stuck up sometimes cuz she's a model and all that, but she's cool in small doses.

That's cool.. A freind of mine is like totally obsessed with this girl for some reason. Anyways, back to the skin.. What features do you have on your car-pc and what screens do you intend to include with this skin (GPS, RADIO, XM ect..)?

1.) i don't yet have a carpc. haha. i'm getting my new scion tc this weekend. i just want sometime to put it in it when its built.

2.) i will be implementing everything i put on that menu skin (radio, music, dvd, video, gps) and i will add the rest later. i won't have xm immediately so it's not a big deal, but i'm sure i can make it just like the radio skin, so i can probably do it. basically if it's a widley used part, i'll make it. i see this skin being one of the most popular skins to use on RR once i'm done with it.
