I notice a couple bugs that were driving me crazy.

If you use FM tune/scan up button has the wrong tag. This makes it so you can only tune in one direction. Change the tag to FREQ+ (instead of FREQ-)

If you use XM you will notice that the Sattelite/terrestrial indicators are misaligned. Openeing the skin up in the skineditor made this change simple and quick.

I have some more problem with CFX Red.

1. Navigation: The lateral buttons doesn't work in full screen.
2. Music: If I press the CD button, and then the Load CD, it doesn't happen anything. So I can't play audio CD-s.
3. There is a "0 kph" text in the information box on the top, but it is still constant.

Please help me!

1. Go to the skin section of the RR forum and download the RRSKINEDITOR program. You can edit all of these items to your liking.
2. Search for playing CD's... there is thread that will tell you how to do this. Your RRConfig is probably pointing to your music folder. You have to add a location that let's you pick the fact you want to play audio CD's. Pretty straight forward once you find the link.
3. This functionality only works with SOME of the native GPS software. If you are not using that, these will not work. Again.. see number 1 and you can edit that stuff out.

1. The buttons are not guaranteed to work with iGuidance. It works for me but may not work for some. I have no idea why. That's the nature of embedding a foreign application where there's no well-defined interface between 2 apps.

2. Go read #6 in the first post. RR doesn't support Audio CDs natively. It's a hack.

3. It works if you set up the GPS port right in RR.ini. Or like Blown said, use Skin Editor and edit it out if it bothers you.

First of all, i love this skin! Only thing that won't work well, is my GPS...

I use freedrive. When i open GPS, using your skin, freedrive opens fullscreen. I can't use previous/next buttens anymore, because FD overlaps it. Only way going back to RR is exit freedrive by it's own menu. This is really annoying, because i have to close FD every time i want to skip a song.

In the other skin i use, LS30, it works perfect...

How do i get FD embedded? I'm sure there is a simple solution for this, i'm just not able to find it...

I actually want to second what Fritzee said about DVD playback. I've been struggling with a solution to this problem for days now and haven't come up with anything. From what I understand, most people with mplayerc have frame rate problems with their DVD playback. I got a codec that helped but nothing that actually fixed the frame rate issues. I also tested WinDVD and PowerDVD for playback. They both use hardware acceleration which appears to fix the problem but this skin doesn't support external DVD playback. I've just added a .skin file from other skins that do allow external DVD apps but have always had problems with the program being in a skin (specifically the touchscreen wont properly press the players controls and fullscreen function wont work) This has become really frustrating. I love the way mplayerc is layed out and how it works in this skin but because their is no hardware acceleration I get the chop.

So here's the questions. Does anyone know of a codec which will successfully solve the frame rate issues or adds hardware acceleration to mplayerc? How are others choosing to deal with DVD framerate issues? Also, are their plans to impliment extrenal DVD playback into the CFX skin?

Musashi, I am using mplayerc with this skin without any problems or choppiness. I'm sure I'm not using any special codecs.

whoops forgot to put the most important info in the last post. My system is a 1Ghz M10000 with 512Mb RAM, slim DVD/CD-RW drive, and 5400 RPM HDD. So the DVD playback issues probably only apply to people running that type of system.

Will, I will never use this feature so I won't include it in the official release. However, you can just edit any button on the Audio Player skin and point it to "DELETEFILE". For example, the "SORT" button is a good candidate if you don't use it. Or "EQ" etc. I already have confirm.skin as mentioned by guino so you're set there.

Actually I take it back. I didn't include confirm.skin in this release. Hold on. I'll whip one up real quick for you.
