Hey ppgt94, I see you did the down buttons in red. I actually like your red better than mine, which is a bit too light. Did you do the bottom row buttons as well? If so, please share!

I like your solution for browsing as well, that would save some time. What I did to lower the number of folders to browse through was to make a folder for each artist/group, and put all of their albums inside, each in their own folder. That reduced my music directory from over 500 folders to under 200, which is still too much for album mode, and I have to use search a lot. I'd like to try your skin file.

b8bboi, are you adding a track position slider for the music screen in the next version, like the video player has? Seems like there's a good spot for it. If you're not, I'm going to try my luck at creating one. I think I can figure it out.

no i'm not adding a slider for the music screen. I don't see any use for it at all.

You would if you listened to a lot of hour-long tracks.

    I see.

There's not much room on the audio screen for a slider and I don't want to mess up the current layout. However, if you want, just have a square metalic piece sliding on the divider bar just underneath the CPU, online, MPH text. That was my original idea anyway but I didn't think it'd look good. Or just shorten the song list and add one on the bottom. Just some ideas.

I just tested this in car. Honestly, I'm not too please with it. I'm definitely going to have to spend a bit more time on this to make it useful and flow better with the rest of the skin. On a 7 inch screen the buttons I made seem too small for touch. There's also some small other bugs I'd like to work out. Consider those files I just posted pre-beta-concept lol I figure at least the idea is out there for those with better skinning skills than myself.

Remove Album/Genre/Playlist Info from Album Art

Is there any way to remove/disable the album/genre/playlist information that appears on album covers? This information started appearing on my album covers a month or two ago, maybe after installation of a new version of RR. Here's what I'm talking about:

Yes.. I removed it from mine.

You need to get a copy of RRSKINEDITOR, open that skin, highlight that box, hit delete. Simple.

kbreeden, open audio_player.skin. Look for line 89. It should say something like this.

    L10,151,206,182,23,255,255,255,15,"GE Drover","PLAYLIST","CENTER"

Remove it and save the file.
