Skin components...

Ok, I'm absolutely horrible with graphics. I'd REALLY like to know if there's anyone out there who would be kind enough to help me out with this. I'd like to find a copy (or something very similar) to either the brushed aluminum or brushed metal skins, but with no text or icons on the buttons. In all honestly I'd love to find these skins broken clear down into their components, you know...each button separate, no text/icons (or icons separate too). All the skins I've found so far are missing something for me or have too much. If I had the components I could put them together...but I'm no good at making this kind of thing from scratch.

If You could get Your hands on any .psd files for a skin that You like You should be able to do what You want with it. You will also need to get the RRSkin Editor.

I just checked Guinos link for the BMV2/BAV2 psd and it's down.

What exactly are You looking for in a skin? I suggest checking out CDRSkulls MC2.0 It does pretty much anything You would want and is easy to customize. And his psd files are available also.

bump...gimp still crashing trying to load PSD's for roadrunner skin

Looks like its trying to allocate over 4 gigs in "scratch" disk or "temporary ram on harddisk" space. You need to make sure you have enough room on your hard drive to open that document and have it rasterize properly with all intented effects, layers, fonts, objects, paths, etc.
