I'd love to see a version where the audio player screen is where the iGuidance screen is (no album art, just the controls and playlist and such).
Alright, redisigned the skin so instead of overlaying side control buttons, 2 new cutsom skins are simply called that will imbed iguidance using the LOAD command. If you don't use IGuidance, you'll need to edit the calls for your gps program on the external_gps.skin, Sidebar3.skin, and Sidebar4.skin
Ok, here we go......
Main Menu (skin is meant to show this only at launch, and when selected from the drop down menu of the central skin...the nav screen)
XM-with Sky-Fi inspired Touchwheel
GPS Default View
GPS Drop Down Menu 1
GPS Drop Down Menu 2
Ok here's the files
SilverSurfer Release 1
If you want to mess with my MESSY PaintShopPro image...sorry, got lost in the layers myself
Install supplied fonts if you haven't already installed the CFX port by b8bboi
Also, I obviously "sampled" some of his skin settings and images, so props to him
If you don't happen to drive a ford explorer I supplied a menuOFF-BLANK and menuDOWN-blank for you to swap out (either through the menu.skin, or simply pulling out my explorer jpegs and renaming the blank ones to match)
Notable missing skins
Freedrive, MapMonkey, etc...sorry, don't use them, but should be able to tweak my IGuidance screen for those if you do use them
FM Radio....don't use it, and honestly don't want to, so i couldnt motivate myself to whip up a simple screen for this...anyone want to help?
SIRIUS....HooHoo Sorry, Howie,.....as long as they have Stern, I will not make a SIRIUS skin.....Loyal to XM and Opie And Anthony on 202
Alright guys, please help out with this one, it runs great in the car, buttons are easy sizes to push, and works in both dark and light environments pretty well.
The GPS sidebars will take a second to draw correctlythe FIRST time they're calle,d after that, it's pretty darn smooth.
Wow, no one even trying this?
nice skin. Can u make a blue one instead of green?
Ooh, that might be nice.. or black (contrast against the silver).
The green that's used is actually a duotone green that when displayed on an LCD such as a XENARC, has a florescent bluish color too it. I designed it to match the interior lights of my ford explorer, i posted the psd if anyone wanted to mess with the color scemes of the buttons.
Good job on the design, I will give this a try latter today.
probably a stupid question but im a noob so im allowed, what do u guys use to get the weather?
No such thing as a stupid question.Originally Posted by djurchicprelude
